“Much Obliged”: Showing Up for Decolonial Conflict in the Cyberscene
Our obligation to one another in a pluralistic society is to earnestly attempt to understand each other across (and despite) difference. Living in the “cyberscene”, an epoch defined by urgency, competition and dislocation makes this obligation too easy to deny. How can we show up for peace-making, problem solving and conflict while still caring for ourselves? How can we resist the colonizing tendencies built into our technological apparatuses? How can embodiment help us move towards and through the heat? Come consider these questions while exploring restorative practices.
