Activation Residency exists to give artists something increasingly raretime, space, safety and support to think, rest, experiment and connect. When you donate, you are directly funding the experiences and conditions that make our residencies possible.

Our programs are are carefully designed short-term residencies that bring together artists, primarily Black, Brown, queer, trans and historically under-resourced creatives, to work, rest and build relationships in intentional community.

Activation Residency is a fiscally sponsored project. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Donor Circles


Donor circles contribute significant funds to support sustainable progress and foster long-term relationships through their generous gifts.

Sustainer ($10,000 +)

Sustainers receive access to all the benefits of the circles below plus a one-on-one art consultation with Kamra and a 10% discount on a Hipcamp stay at Forest Fringe Farm.

Grower ($9,999-$5,000)

Growers receive access to all the benefits of the circles below and join us for an event hosted by our partner organization, SoMad in New York City.

Believer ($4,999-$1,000)

Believers receive access to all the benefits of the circles below and are invited to the opening night of one summer program at Forest Fringe Farm.

Giver ($999-$500)

Givers receive access to all the benefits of the circles below and a one-on-one land walk at Forest Fringe Farm with Kamra.

Partner ($250-$499)

Partners receive a free Black Trans Joy is Sacred sweatshirt.

Friend ($1-$249)

Friends receive our endless gratitude for being a part of our creative legacy.
